Drug Uses
Elavil is commonly prescribed as an anti-depressant and is used for the treatment of major depression.
Usage
Elavil needs to be consumed orally about 1-4 times daily with or without a meal. It is recommended that you continue to use Elavil for a couple of weeks. Before stopping the usage of Elavil completely, it is recommended that you gradually lower the dosage. Stick to the dosage as recommended by the doctor.
Missed Dosage?
If you have missed a dose, then it is recommended that you skip the existing dose and continue with your regular dosage. Please do not take a double dose.
